The first two weeks of May are a great time to open up your camper, do a shake-down, and make sure everything is in working order before taking off for your maiden voyage of the year.  Soooo, why not do that at 1/2 price?  Yes, FREE for the fir st two weeks in May 2019.  (minimum 2 night stay, see Camp Store for details).  This is the final weekend of (2 for 1) with camping at 1/2 price (minimum stay of 2 nights, may not combine with other offers, see store for details).
 
The activity for this weekend is to celebrate the Kentucky Derbe.  Wear your Festive Derbe Hat, and win maybe you'll win a prize. 
 
The Little Ridge Restaurant is open Friday from 5pm to 8pm.  See RESTAURANT for menu and details.
 
Activities with the kids include making their own Derbe Hat or other craft, a camp-style horse race, and more.  Miss Gabby makes every weekend fun for our youth campers.

Camp Where The Fun Is while you take in all there is to see and do at the Lilac Festival.  Be sure to bring some good walking shoes, because this is a very large event with many vendors, bands, informational booths, etc.

Build your very own Cardboard Racer inspired by NASCAR Style.  Who's your favorite racer?  Build their car - your way.  Once complete, we'll head to the track where we test these fantastic creations for Style, Aerodynamics and, of course, SPEED!  Yes, we'll race them around the track.  Various age and gender classes and prizes for those who go the extra mile.
 
We will have cardboard or bring your own.  Some supplies will be on-hand, but if you have any special requirements, you'll want to bring them.
 
Once the local races have been completed, we'll carpool to Limerock Speedway and watch these professionals take to the track for some gritty competition.
